Munchkin Tub Toy Organizer

Categorized in:

Munchkin Tub Toy Organizer Last summer I saw the Munchkin Tub Toy Organizer, and couldn’t get over its cuteness. We had a lot of bath toys between our two toddlers (then two and a half and one year), so I was able to easily justify the purchase of the turtle toy organizer!

Unfortunately, the tub toy organizer didn’t work out as intended. The problem? It wouldn’t stay up! We tried on all three walls of our tub, with the suction cups wet, with the suction cups dry, and after cleaning the surface the suction cups were being applied to. Nothing worked. Within an hour of being applied, at least two of the suction cups would give way, and eventually the whole thing would fall into a heap in the bathtub.

What finally made us toss the turtle in the trash was when we realized that some of the little pockets weren’t resisting water nor drying out entirely, and were beginning to take on a mildew-y smell. Ew! What a sad ending for an adorable turtle that definitely had potential!
