May 2nd, the transmission/deposit date for our tax stimulus rebate check (hello $1800!), is just two weeks away. To be exact, two weeks and one day. *does a little dance* Hello deck, a few bills, and finally those bathroom faucets we keep talking about!

Thanks Jenn, for making me angry once more. I was all excited about the rebate checks too. Turns out I would get $300 back. Then I came to find out, I get nothing just because my mom claimed me on her taxes. It pisses me off, because now that money is going to hers. I am going to be 20 freakin’ years old this year. I pay her rent to live here, buy my own clothes, food, and other necessities. Yet, she gets the money that should be mine. She won’t give it to me either.

^ You’re kidding! Legally, she can only claim you if she pays half or more of your support, I believe. If you’re paying your own way, and just happen to be living in her house that you’re paying her rent for, then that’s not right of her to do that.

We get ours in June… Well, I say we, but I mean I - Tor owes. Again. Not much though, so all together we get about $560 back. Better than nothing.
