I packed up Alyssa and Ryan and took them out this afternoon. There wasn’t anything I really needed to get, aside from dish soap and contact lens friendly eye drops, but the kids hadn’t been out anywhere for a few days, and we were all kind of bored. So out we went. To Target, of course, after filling up both vehicles at a gas station. $72 total. Yuck. Did I ever mention that I remember the days of paying $1.53 per gallon and thinking that was expensive? God, if only I had known then what I know now… I miss the days of filling up the tank on a $20 bill and getting back change!

Anyway, while at Target, I looked through a lot of the baby clothes for a swimsuit for Alyssa, but I really didn’t find anything that I liked. The cute print seemed to be reserved for the triangular-top two pieces, but I’m not dressing my daughter like a trollop, thank you very much. I may have to check out online baby clothing stores like sandboxcouture.com, to see if they have anything a little more traditional/classic/girly/little girl appropriate.
