When I was pregnant with my daughter, I dreamed of having a baby bassinet to put her in. My husband and I looked around at many baby bassinets, but unfortunately couldn’t justify such a large purchase, especially since we already had a playpen and were anticipating a crib as a gift from his family. So I gave up the hope of having a bassinet, and moved on to the essential purchases: stroller, car seat, clothes, bedding, toiletry items.

Well, imagine my surprise when Daniel’s grandmother gifted us with a baby bassinet a few months later! It was wonderful to have it all set up and waiting at the end of our bed for our newborn baby to go into.
