My mom has been dealing with a lot of legal crap these past few months, and has half jokingly suggested looking into Alabama land for sale, or even land in Illinois (my grandmother’s native state) or New Jersey (my grandfather’s native state). I can’t imagine her moving out of state, as I am so used to having her being minutes (literally - about twelve!) away from me. But like I told her, if she thinks a fresh start would be best, then she should do it. I would miss having her nearby, but I’m sure we could arrange visits.
