Several days ago I received a tub of whipped pomegranate shea butter from Shea Radiance. My first impression of Shea Radiance’s products was a good one. I really liked the “natural” look of the product packaging, and the tied up sack/bag it arrived in:

This stuff is really great! I have heard about shea butter off and on since being a teenager, and had a few friends that used shea butter, but I myself have never tried the stuff out. Until now. I was excited to try out the product in the hopes of finding a solution for the dry skin that plagues my elbows, legs and feet during the dry air (both hot and cold) that comes along with the winter season. The tub of shea butter that I received has eight ounces worth of whipped shea butter, and one application requires only a dime-sized amount, so this will last for quite a long stuff. It has a light, delicious smelling scent to it, and it is not overly oily or greasy. The whipped consistency ensures that there is no mess during application.

For three days now I have been using the shea butter on my elbows, legs and feet. After two applications of it the first night, I noticed an immediate improvement on my elbows. By the next afternoon my legs were much smoother and definitely more moisturized, and by today both my husband and I noticed a big difference with my feet! :)

All that said, I am going to really enjoy the tub of Shea Radiance shea butter that I have, and chances are it will last me through several seasons! I’m also going to be ordering a tub for my brothers for Christmas, as they are half Egyptian and have very dry skin all year round, and it worsens in the colder and drier seasons.
