Completely unrelated to product and service reviews - does anyone have any personal experience with potty training boys? Ryan is sixteen months old, so he is a little young for me to worry about potty training, but time is flying by, and before I know it he’ll be TWO! and then THREE!
I have heard that boys are sometimes more difficult to potty train. Is this true? I would imagine to a certain extent that it might be, especially if it is the mother or female caregiver trying to train, since they have no way of “showing” the little guy how it’s done. I think that is what worked so well with my daughter, Alyssa. She turned three years old on October 27th, and has been potty trained since early September! With Alyssa, I was able to actually show her from the moment she became semi-interested in what I was doing in the bathroom.
