My husband has a family life insurance policy through work, but I have been thinking of branching out and perhaps picking up a few other policies. My grandmother did just that when she was in her late 30s, and now, since she died almost three years ago, my mother is the beneficiary of a policy that is OVER $30,000! It would be nice and Dan and I to be able to provide the same for our children, and their spouses and children as well.
