For me, the best part about being pregnant was going shopping for baby furniture. While baby furniture was rather pricey in comparison to, oh, let’s say cloth diapers, breastfeeding supplies and clothes, baby furniture was really fun. There are so many colors, so many finishes, so many styles. So many options! To coordinate, or not to coordinate? With Alyssa, we purchased a coordinating stroller, car seat, high chair and playpen. We used those items again with Ryan. We got lucky when it came to baby cribs. Dan’s grandmother bought us a crib to use for Alyssa, and it was in perfect shape for when it was Ryan’s turn to use it.
