I don’t know a lot about dog grooming and its associated hassles and costs, but as the owner of a Persian cat, and in the past several other Persian cats, I can tell you that pet grooming, in general, is a very useful service! Many cats and dogs require grooming because of mats and tangles. Others, like my Persian cat, are taken in for grooming when fleas are suspected. With excess fur out of the way, treating a cat or dog for fleas is a lot easier! And still other owners of cats and dogs bring their pet in for fashionable cuts and trims.
