I bought my car from my brother-in-law in December of 2005, and one of the first things I noticed was that it had a stale, slightly musty odor. I assumed it was from being closed up during the fall and winter, so I decided to let it air out that spring. But by this past winter (a year after purchasing the car), the smell was still there, despite repeated vacuumings, cleaning of the seats, and searching in vain for any trash or dirt (none!).

Other air fresheners covered up the scent, which made the smell of the interior of the car cloying, but not good smelling. It has now been two months since I purchased that air freshener, and the car still smells great
