Remember my hair woes? Well, I have found a solution that is working for me! Pantene Pro-V Expressions is working beautifully. I use both the shampoo and conditioner, and my hair is moisturized enough so that I can brush and style it comfortably, but not moisturized to the point where my head could lubricate a baking pan.
In addition to making my hair manageable yet not rivaling an oil slick, the shampoo and conditioner are both nicely scented, and are relatively affordable.

Oh, I know this is an old entry, but Pantene is BAD BAD BAD for your hair. As are Suave, Fructis, (All Garnier products, actually.), and Thermasilk. That smooth shiny you’re experiencing is the start of horrible waxy buildup that eventually, you will have to get cut out. (From experience, believe me. My mom had to have a LOT of hair cut off because of bad shampoos.) I know a lot of people are like “Well, it’s just hair, and the others are a lot of money,” But if your hair is an asset to you, and you want to keep it healthy, GO WITH A MORE EXPENSIVE PRODUCT.
Things like John Freida, or even Tresseme! Salon quality is definitely the best for your hair, but I understand how expensive that can get. I do suggest going to your salon and requesting the Malibu treatment shampoo and conditioner to take home. Use it every day for 2 weeks, and you’ll be surprised at the difference it makes. (And then, if you can swing it, get the TIGI Bed Head Mega Nutrient shampoo/conditioner. It smells like sweet tarts. lol.)
