Tide HE

Tide HEI picked up a bottle of Tide HE after reading an article that warned against the usage of standard detergents (such as Tide Simple Pleasures) in high efficiency front load washers. Apparently the concentrate and suds generated from regular detergent can clog, reduce the efficiency of and even damage high efficiency front load washers. Oops. So off I went in search of an appropriate detergent, and came back with Tide HE.

Tide HE promises low sudsing action that effectively isolates dirt particles from clothing, while still washing them very well. After running several loads of wash using Tide HE, including two loads of cloth diapers, I am very satisfied with Tide HE. While I prefer the scent of Tide Simple Pleasures, no scent is worth damaging an expensive appliance over. Besides, I can still get the scent from fabric softener and dryer sheets. :)
